Something This Night Comes

  Lying in bed

 a noise awakens,

 darkness forbids my senses.

 A growl,

 deep throated,

 It leaps upon the bed

 clawing.

 Meowing,

 A Pussy Cat!

How neat!  I overcame my night time fears with your story on Alucard.  I started reading that story when I was alone in my darkness in the terrible hours of the night.  I was sucha sissy...not no more!  LOL!  hugs...gloria

I love the light hearted change of pace. Obviously you never had a kitty the size Elvis is...30 pounds at his last visit to see the doctor! LOL. He's big boned.

Always, Carly

I'll never forget the day i woke up with a tuxedo
Siamese lying on the pillow beside me, massaging
my chest with declawed fore=paws.  And as soon
as i realised she was just a cat, she gave me a
sharp love=bite on the cheek.  Talk about your
wake=up calls!  Wasn't even my cat.
[and thanks 4 being in the Moment^^]
